We’re all on a long, strange road trip and we keep asking the question from the back seat, “Are we there yet?” All of us want a sense of normalcy, a feeling of stability, and a return to our spaces.
We have good news . . .
As we move closer to reopening restaurants throughout California, Reset has taken a baby step and opened for takeout with an abridged menu and hours.
On Saturday, May 16 we started the Reset First Step of reopening by being open 8:00a-6:00p Mon-Sat and 8:00 to 4:00 on Sundays for the following TAKEOUT items:
- All Coffee Drinks (hot and cold)
- Baked Pastries of the day and Signature Night Cookies
- Beer and Wine
- Winesday Wine Sale
- Weekend Select Signature Cocktails
- Charlie’s Chicken Salad (sandwich or on lettuce)
- Spinach Artichoke Dip
- Baked Flatbread of the Day
- Take and Bake Flatbread of the Week
We hope to take our Second Step very soon.
Reset Second Step will include inside dining with parameters established by California, added food items, new takeout innovations including picnic lunches and paninis, and . . . if all the planets align . . . outdoor seating on Sutter Street (we’ve been working on this and have made great progress).
We made a choice at the beginning of this crisis to close the doors except for weekly specials—Winesdays, Flatbread of the Week, Easter, Mother’s Day, etc. It didn’t make sense for our business to stay open with so much uncertainty about traffic flow, inventory, staff needs, and health concerns.
Reset has been very careful to listen to all governing authorities who are setting guidelines. Your health and the health of our employees and their families matters to us. We’ve erred on the side of caution and we’ve taken a conservative approach to make sure we’re above reproach.
We’ve adapted, overcome, and survived. We’re ready to start thriving once again.
Thanks for your incredible support and concern. Thanks for following our story on social media. Thanks for your messages of encouragement. We look forward to seeing you Saturday!
Peace, love, and daily resets to all of us!
John, Tahni, and the Reset Team
